I thought I might start to tell you a  little about me...

I am an artist and I love it!

I have been creating since I could remember in one way or another.

I was a misfit in school and wanted so badly to be different, so instead of shopping at the mall I would go to the thrift shops and go wild with $5 dollars...hheheheheh...

Family, friends and even total strangers would comment on my creations and wanted to know where I had purchased what I was wearing.  

As I was approaching senior year in High School, a friend of mine said "you should  be a designer" and I said "No way! I don't think I like that"  Well I ended up enrolling at the Academy of fashion design in downtown Chicago inside the merchandise mart. 

I was in 7th heaven and I loved being there! for about 2 months =(

Little did I know back then, that I had to come up with all sorts of money and I mean MONEY for supplies, books, special pencils, special this and special that.  That is when my dream of becoming the best of the bests designers went down the drain.  One semester in I quit.  

It was the hardest decisions of my life, and saddest.  

Since then I have taken up painting, jewelry design and anything that has to do with mixed media.

I started school for graphic design in early 2013 and I am learning A-LOT lol!

So here I am trying to make a living with my art and creations and just having a good time doing so.

I am a firm believer in doing what you love to do and just being happy, being upset or in a bad mood just tires me out.  So a very long time ago I decided to just be happy.

I'm giving this blogging thing a whirl and hopefully you will join me in this new adventure of mine.
